Runners" hitting the hill" in the 2nd Annual Ram Run
The Second Annual Ram Run 5K was held on Sunday November 7, @10AM at the Columbia-Montour AVTS in Bloomsburg.

Race day weather was "picture perfect" as the temperature was near 60 and the fall foliage was radiant in all its splendor! This year there were 50 entered and 46 runners completing the race.

The school's Cross Country course is deceiving, it looks easy but as the runners soon realize it is anything but. Runners must complete three loops over the grass surrounding the school. The third lap is slightly different as it leads the runners to the football field to the finish.

Overall male winner was Frank Yanko who flew over the course in 19:04. The female winner was Ann Sick with a time of 20:43. There was a special award for the first Votech finisher and that was captured by Jeremy Shoop with a time of 19:29. Jeremy is a CMAVTS graduate and former member of the school's Cross Country team.

Following the run, participants were treated to an all you can eat brunch in the school cafeteria and awards made by the Machine and Welding Technology students. Also new this year to the Ram Run, was a car show in which several of the runners participated.

Next years' run is scheduled for Sunday November 5, 2006 @ 10AM!
