American Legion, Kingston-The Wyoming Valley Striders hosted the 2008 Cross Country All Star awards presentation at the Kingston American Legion. The teams were selected by the Wyoming Valley cross country coaches. Each athlete received a trophy, T-shirt and a one year membership to the Striders. The outstanding athletes in each division were Katie Levandoski, Wyoming Seminary, Div. III Girls; John Gibbons Hanover Area, Div. III Boys; Marina Orrson, Lake Lehman, Div. II Girls, Anthony Rizzo, Holy Redeemer, Div. II Boys; Kirsten Schafer, Crestwood, Div. I Girls; Robert Micikas Crestwood, Div. I Boys.
