Specially designed medals to the first three competitors in each runner’s age group. Surprise door prizes will be awarded. INFO: Registration- 8:30 am -9:45 am, $10 pre-registration, $15 day of race, 5K race is a pavement course. Race awards will be given to the first overall male and female winner, the first male and female ATC or ATS, and in the following age groups: 18 & under, 19-25, 26-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & over. Awards for the walk will be given to the first overall male and female winners. In addition to the awards prizes may be given out to the race winners and registrants after the race. Awards will be given after the race at Kirby Park. Following the run / walk there will be an awards ceremony including food, prizes, and gift giveaways. This time will also allow for the racers and the students to socialize, network, and interact with peers from other institutions. Also, students from the four schools will have poster presentations and pamphlets available to racers, peers, and the community on relevant medical topics

INFO: Registration is held in the Bloomsburg Town Park. Registration opens at 8:30am, $15 pre-registration if entry is postmarked by 3/26/10, $20 after 3/26/10. The course follows Ft. McClure Rd., starting and ending at the Bloomsburg Town Park, flat, fast well marked scenic course perfect for first time racers, or more experienced runners looking for a personal best.
T-shirts and goodie bags guaranteed to all pre-registered entrants (a limited number of extra t-shirts will be ordered, extra shirts will be distributed on a first come first serve basis), post race refreshments, results posted in 1-2 days at: http://orgs.bloomu.edu/running. The compeer program, through volunteerism and friendship strives to reduce hospitalization, the stigma associated with mental illnesses and to enhance public understanding of mental illness in children and adults. Soles 4 Souls: is a non-profit organization that collects shoe donations, and redistributes them to various areas in times of need. All shoes are accepted. We will be running a collection drive so please empty out our shoe closet and bring any and all of your no longer wanted shoes!

INFO: This is a 5k (3 mile) run/walk race and will benefit the aftermaths of the earthquake in Haiti.. Registration will begin at 9:00am and will close at 10:00am. The race will begin at 10:30am. Pre-Registration is $10 and registration the day of the race will cost $15 dollars. You can also make donations. CASH ONLY. There is no age division and awards will only be given out for the running portion of the race. Awards will consist of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The walkers will do a shorter version of the course and will only walk 1 mile after the runners race has begun. The course may change before April but the final map should be ready by March 25th and will be posted. There will not be t-shirts given out for participation in the race, sorry.
