EVENTS:  DISTANCE = 5K Run/ Walk , Pet Walk
LOCATION:  Lake Carey Station 69 Fire Station Pavilion 1/10 mile off route 29 on state route 1007

BENEFITS:  Walter B. Tewksbury Committee; Wyoming County Humane Society
INFO:  The 1th annual. This race is being jointly sponsored by the Tewksbury Track and Field Committee and Wyoming County Humane society. Proceeds will benefit Track and Field events in the area as well as the efforts of the Humane Society to improve the lives of animals in our area. The race will be held at Lake Carey with registration at the Lake Carey Volunteer Fire Hall.
Course is one lap around Lake Carey on paved roads.
Awards to the first overall male and female. Awards will be presented in the following 12 age groups. No duplication of awards. MALE/FEMALE RUNNERS: 14 & Under, 15-19,20-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-69,70 & Over
Registration from 7:30 am to 9:15 am at the Lake Carey Fire Hall. Runners, walkers and walkers with pets are welcome. Pre-Registration fee is $10.00. Race Day Registration is $15.00. A gift will be given to the first 50 entrants to register. A special treat to all those with pets who enter.

COURSE MAPS - Course records are either provided by race director or generated based on info available or similar map used by another event that may not be actual. Distances may not match precisely but should not be used as actual distance. Many courses may be wheel measured, which can be either inaccurately measured or changes occurring in the course such as construction or moved landmark, start area or finish line. USATF is prefered map system.
FOLLOW THESE RULES-Times listed are for start time. In most cases registration begins at least an hour before start and many times two hours. You should try to arrive at least 30 minutes to register. Remember to double check your tag or bib, for your name, gender and age. Make sure the info is readable and correct. Tags should be pinned to the front of your body and not behind.
When you finish make sure you do not pass the runner ahead of you in the chute, stay single file and make sure the person takes your tag or records your nmber, if you lose your tag or bib make sure the times marks your info down.
