The 3200m AAA State Championship 2007 as Paul Springer and Jason Weller have a showdown of the titans among other great runners in this tremendous race. and also the 1600, AAA as Pennsylvania's finest duke it out in the classic 1600m race. ON THE SCRANTON SCENE- For those who have asked and those who are interested, yes, Jim Moran has informed NEPARunner.com that the Andy Gavin Mile Run is on again this year. Its again set for the Saturday after the Diamonds Run (Thanksgiving), so mark your calendars for November 24th... There will be a LAKE SCRANTON race this year- October 28th, "The Bruce Gelb Memorial Run/Walk", this will be the only race of "07 at the Lake. Last race was the DePaul Race, which hopefully will be put on in '08. This could be one of those doubleheader race days, once around the lake then head over to the Wyoming Valley Striders annual fall trail run.

TUESDAY NIGHT GROUP TEMPO RUNS AT MELLOW PARK- With fall and the Steamtown Marathon taper beginning the Tuesday night track work out will become a Tuesday night group tempo run. Meet at Mellow Park 6:30 pm from now until spring! All levels welcome!.
Mellow Park is right off of main street Peckville. It's right next to Valley View's football stadium.

INSTA-RESULTS ANNOUNCES FALL/WINTER EVENTS- The Pa. Biathlon Club will conduct another Summer Biathlon (run -shoot) Sunday, November 4th at 11a.m., Whitetail Preserve in Black Creek Twp. This will be a 5km
Also Snowshoe biathlon will be held on Sunday, Jan 6 '08 at 1p.m it will be a 4km and held at the same location . More info soon. Also Pa. State Snowshoe Championship will again be held on Saturday, Februaury 16th, 2008 with 5km +10km, events at the Nescopeck State Park in Drums. This will be an Eastern qualifier for Nationals.
