Jones and Petsuck are overall winners at Eagle Rock 5K Run / Walk
The Eagle Rock Community Association sponsored their second annual 5K Run/Walk on Sunday May 25.

First place medals with ribbons were awarded by race directors June and Wayne Seeley to the winning runners in each age group. Medals were also presented to the first place in the "Clydesdale " class and the first place in the Race Walking class.

The overall male and female winners were Morgan Jones (21:00) of Nesquehoning and Alexandra Petsuck (21:09) of Drums.

A total of 42 runners and 27 walkers participated. All walkers received an award at the finish line.

The course was downhill and uphill for the first mile, with the rest of the course mainly flat.

30 - 39 - (Male) Damian Joy, Eagle Rock (21:51); (Female) Joy Phelan, Conestoga (23:35)
40 - 49 - (Male) Mark Kendrick, Atco, NJ (26:29); (Female) Deborah Subetto, Williamsport, MD (25:08)
50 + - (Male) David Holmes, Tamaqua (21:53); (Female) Karen Austin, Franklin, TN (28:02)
