WV STRIDERS HONOR VINCE WOJNAR WITH A PUBLIC BENCH-
The Wyoming Valley Striders honored Vince Wojnar. Athlete, Coach, Teacher, Official. Wyoming Valley Striders board member/founder with a honorary bench in Kirby Park for his endless commitment to the sport of running. The bench was dedicated on August 10th, pictured below.

LOCAL RUNNING FAMILY STARS AT OIL CREEK STATE PARK SUMMER BIATHLON-
The Sick Family of Millville captured top honors as a national record turnout takes part in the summer biathlon
( running and rifle marksmanship) at Oil City,Pa. Ninety-six entrants made this the largest summer biathlon on record.
Katie Sick was the overall female winner in a time of 26:20. Her sister Hannah was 3rd overall female in 30:33.
Their mother , Ann took top master (32:15) and was 4th women overall. Scott Sick was the 4th male and top master(29:49).
Scott hit all ten targets. Katie and Ann missed only one of the ten targets,Hannah missed two. The event is sponsored by the Pa. Biathlon Club.
